How to Become a Pilot

Group of six diverse people sitting on tiered steps in a modern indoor setting, wearing matching gray polo shirts with a logo, smiling and posing for a team photo.

72andSunny relaunched United Airlines' branding efforts with the tagline/mission line: Good Leads The Way

But little known one act of Good that United was spearheading? Diversifying the newest class of commercial pilots.

We wanted to shine a light on their flight school, Aviate Academy, so we created a high-octane, swagger filled spot that gave a peek behind the curtains to everything that goes into training to become a pilot (spoiler: it ain’t easy). We shot on location, and the spot starred the real dedicated student-pilots who are the next generation of aviation.

Impact

The stuff that makes it all worth it. Our student pilots not only got to see themselves, but also got to inspire the next generation.
